Did you know the Pap smear has changed?
The Pap Smear is no more, when visiting your GP you’ll likely be offered a cervical screening test.
The latest medical evidence shows that having this type of screening every five years is just as safe, and is more effective than a Pap test every two years. Women aged 25-74 who have ever been sexually active can participate in the screening program. Your first test will occur at age 25 or 2 years after your last pap smear.
